Create awesome stuff. Have fun in the process.

That’s always been my approach. And over the course of 25+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to do that as a Creative Director working at startups, global brands, and on my own passion projects.

As a Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director, I have launched and grown brands through creative strategy, design, and execution.

Most recently, as the Creative Director of Aerosoles (www.aerosoles.com), I led the rebrand and relaunch of heritage women’s shoe company Aerosoles - transitioning it from a traditional brick-and-mortar retailer to a direct-to-consumer, ecommerce brand, appealing to a younger, savvier shopper. Created design direction for all site and marketing assets (digital and print) for relaunch / re-platforming of Aerosoles website and brand, including all ecommerce product photography, video assets and brand packaging. Oversaw and supported all digital needs: daily email campaigns, organic social imagery and paid social campaigns, and display, search and affiliate marketing. Led a team of full-time and freelance creatives, supporting ecommerce, wholesale, and corporate needs.

As the Creative Director at Book of the Month (www.bookofthemonth.com), I helped to relaunch a 90-year old brand as an ecommerce subscription company, and led a team of creatives. I oversaw or designed all digital imagery, photography, video, packaging, and other promotional materials. Working closely with the Content, Marketing, and Product teams on social media, email, digital and offline marketing campaigns, I supported the growth of our email list from 0 to 500K subscribers, and social following to over 600K (recognized by Ad Age!).

Book of the Month was my most recent project at parent company Bookspan, formerly known as Direct Brands and before that, Columbia House. In my 25 years at the company, I’ve managed teams of up to 25 creatives, working closely with management and marketing executives to provide creative product and marketing design solutions to support strategic business objectives.

Currently, I am running my own company (www.silberfuchsnyc.com), clothing brand Silber Fuchs NYC, as the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. My husband and I embarked on this clothing design passion project because we wanted to create something fun together. With a little help from our friends, we’ve watched it snowball into a fast-growing apparel line. You can find our apparel in 10 boutique shops throughout the USA, and even across the pond in London.

On a personal note, I live  in NYC with my husband and rescue pup Noah. When I’m not in the dog park trying to tire out the pup I like to bake (a skill passed down from my mom), and hit the gym (to off-set the consumption of baked goods).

I’m looking for new opportunities, and am open to both freelance and full-time projects. Please reach out to discuss!
